My name’s Samantha Steele, and I’m a journalist making my way in the wide, wide world. I’m from Pretoria, South Africa, and have lived in Geneva, France and Cape Town. My hometown at the moment? Big, scary Johannesburg.
I hope you enjoy reading about my struggles and the everyday battles I, and many people like me, face (like trying to be healthy, surviving at work, living with The Boyfriend, and finding hilarious things on the Internet).
Mission Succexy is what I’m on. The fabulous, tongue-teasing word ‘succexy’ comes from a song by a band I have fallen deeply in love with, called Metric. I don’t know what it means to them, but to me it is a combination of successful and sexy. (Trying to) look good and hopefully getting somewhere successful! That is why Succexy is always spelled with a capital, or, preferably, several capitals as well as some exclamation marks. Because we are MOTIVATING ourselves. SUCCEXY!!!

Say it with me – SUCCEXY!!!
